PDRM: No easing up despite IS leader's death

Bukit Aman will not ease up its anti-terror operations despite the recent death of IS leader Abu Bakar al-Baghdadi.
PDRM's counter-terrorism chief told The Star that IS remains a dangerous group despite the loss of its leader, and he expects it to be even more determined now to set up a main base in South-East Asia.
He adds that lone wolf attacks will also not stop because of al-Baghdadi's death.
Do your part to stop floods
Malaysians have been advised to be more responsible in maintaining the cleanliness of their surroundings to prevent flash floods.
The DPM says one of the causes of flash floods is people dumping rubbish into drains.
There are almost 2,200 flood evacuees across Penang, Perak, Selangor, Kedah and Johor so far this morning.
The Selangor MB has warned that floods in Kuala Selangor will likely continue until the weekend, while all districts in Kelantan are also on flood alert.
PH makes pick for Tanjung Piai
Bersatu's Karmaine Sardini is Pakatan Harapan's candidate for the upcoming Tanjung Piai parliamentary by-election.
BN has yet to announce its candidate, while GERAKAN will do so today.
The by-election nomination day is this Saturday, while polling is on November 16th.
Housing prices to reflect local area
The government has promised to revise affordable home prices to suit the area and the local population's average household income.
The Housing Ministry will ensure the prices of afforable homes are no more than three-times the average household income of the area.
