Syed Saddiq stands by suggestion on helping 'Mat Lajaks'

Nov 08, 2019

The Youth and Sports Minister has defended his intention to help Mat Lajak, or youth who ride illegally modified bicycles.

This, after he was ridiculed for wanting to induct Mat Lajak into his Ministry's training programme, where they can learn how to build a safe bike and even try professional racing.

Syed Saddiq was slammed for encouraging the dangerous practice of riding modified bicyles, but he insists that he believes in educating and not punishing.
