Two MPs almost came to blows in Parliament today

Nov 20, 2019

Two UMNO MPs  almost came to blows in Parliament today, and had to be pulled apart by security personnel and other lawmakers.

The scuffle between Kuala Krau MP Datuk Seri Dr Ismail Mohamed Said and Pasir Salak's Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman broke out after they emerged from the Dewan Rakyat chamber shouting at each other.

According to reports, it it started after Tajuddin allegedly posted a picture of Dr Ismail’s daughter on social media.

The female rhinoceros is terminally ill, due to cancer and may have only a few more weeks to live.

Tam, Malaysia's last male Sumatran rhino, died back in May.

PKR has dismissed a viral message claiming that party president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had met with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong this morning.

Its communication director Fahmi Fadzil says the fake message message was aimed at causing friction in the Pakatan Harapan coalition.

He stressed that Anwar was at the Dewan Rakyat this morning.
