Khairy denies proposing debate on premiership transition

Khairy Jamaluddin has dismissed a viral letter claiming that he tabled a motion in Parliament, to debate a transition of the premiership from Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. 

The Rembau MP went on Facebook to say that he never did anything of the sort. 

Khairy says the rumour was aimed aimed at hurting his reputation as an MP.

Private prisons to be set up to address overcrowding

The government could set up private prisons to solve the overcrowding problem in Msian jails.

The Home Ministry says Malaysia’s 38 prisons are now at 40 percent overcapacity.

Its deputy minister says if it's approved, these private prisons will likely house low-to-medium risk inmates.


More scammers have been arrested.... this time in Melaka!

Police have detained 53 people mainly Chinese nationals in an operation in Klebang.

This, comes a day after police arrested nearly 700 suspected scammers in Cyberjaya.
