Watch out for EAIC scam

Scammers are now using the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission's name, to try and cheat people out of their money.
The EAIC says scammers have been contacting people, via phone email, and social media, soliciting payments to settle bank loans.
The commission's responsibility is actually to investigate complaints made AGAINST enforcement agencies like the police.

The inquest into the death of a detained Nigerian post-graduate student will be held at the start of the New Year.
According to Malaysiakini, the KL Coroner’s Court says the inquest will be held for 5 days starting January 2nd.
The PhD student was detained by Immigration Dept officers during an operation in Kepong back in July, and died several days later at the the Bukit Jalil Immigration Detention Depot.
Earlier reports said he had suffered a seizure.
