IGP determined to make police force drug-free!

The IGP says he is determined to make the police force drug-free, and noted that almost 300 officers and personnel were arrested for drug abuse within a span of two months.

He says the drug abuse problem in the country had reached a critical level and efforts had been stepped up to combat the menace.

The IGP adds that criminal cases in Malaysia such as snatch thefts, thefts and robberies were linked to drug abuse.

London Bridge attacker was a former prisoner

UK police say the man, who carried out the stabbing attack at London Bridge last night was a former prisoner convicted of a terrorism offence.

The attacker was out of prison on licence at the time of the attack, in which 2 people were killed and 3 others were injured.

He was shot dead by officers and authorities have declared the attack a terrorist incident
