Jan 09, 2020
Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's lawyer says he's considering suing the MACC, and its chief commissioner Latheefa Koya.
This is after the anti-graft commission revealed phone call recordings that suggested a high-level conspiracy, involving the former Prime Minister and several other individuals.
Najib’s lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah says he's looking at initiating subjudice and contempt proceedings, claiming the recordings involved ongoing court cases.
Meanwhile, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, who was also implicated in the recordings, said that she will let her lawyers handle it.
