Stimulus package to mitigate Covid-19 impact

The highly-anticipated stimulus package will serve to mitigate the economic impact of Covid-19 and help industries rebound when the outbreak is contained.

Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng says Malaysia is among the earliest to launch the package, even though the impact of the outbreak has yet to be determined.

The stimulus package is expected to be announced on February 27th, next Thursday.

Actor Ashraff Sinclair dies of heart attack

Jakarta-based actor Ashraff Sinclair passed away today, at the age of 41 due to a heart attack.

Ashraf rose to fame after he starred in the 2005 romantic comedy 'Gol & Gincu'.

Sarawak to replace vaccine injection method

Sarawak will replace vaccine injections with the 'bait' method in its efforts to curb rabies in the state.

The state's Vet Department wants to begin experimenting the vaccine, which will be administered to dogs through feed instead of injections.
