Tun M Apologises to Nation

Interim Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has apologised to the country for the chaotic political situation. 

The 94-year-old explained that he resigned due to Bersatu leaving Pakatan Harapan and joining with the opposition. 

He says this could lead to an UMNO dominated government. 

He adds that if given the opportunity, he would form a new merit based government, not party based. 

Meanwhile, Tun M continues to receive support as PM, including from Gabungan Parti Sarawak, Johor Amanah, and Datuk Seri Azmin Ali's group of MPs. 

PH nominates Anwar Ibrahim as PM 

Pakatan Harapan Presidential Council has nominated Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the next Prime Minister. 

Anwar has urged the public to remain patient and to respect the Agong's decision.

Tun M to announce Economic Stimulus Package 2020 

The much awaited Economic Stimulus Package 2020 will be announced tomorrow as scheduled. 

This after Tun M completed a meeting with the Finance Ministry's top officials earlier today. 

The package is to help the economy handle the affects from the COVID-19 outbreak.
