Seriously, STAY AT HOME!

Mar 19, 2020

Malaysians are urged to take the Movement Control Order or MCO seriously.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says everyone needs to stay at home during his period, if we are to bring the outbreak under control:

"I need your help for just these two weeks. We want to break the chain of infection of this virus, so that the number of people infected will reduce."

Tan Sri Muhyiddin also warned that the MCO could be extended by another two weeks or even longer, if the current measure fails to achieve its objective.

Police are making sure you abide by the MCO

Selangor police have already started going out on the streets, to ensure Malaysians abide by the Movement Control Order or MCO.

The operation involved roadblocks as well as checks on residential areas and business premises around Shah Alam and Petaling Jaya.

The KL City Hall is also ensuring that non-essential businesses remain shut, and will be deploying 2,000 personnel on rotation for this purpose.
