Msia's COVID-19 deathtoll now at 15

One more COVID-19 death has been reported, raising the total to 15.
The victim was a 71-year-old Malaysian man, who also suffered from chronic illnesses.
It’s believed he was in contact with a COVID-19 patient who attended last month’s religious gathering in Sri Petaling, KL.
The Health ministry says of total deaths, 10 are linked to the Sri Petaling mosque cluster, while the others had recently travelled abroad.
Msia detects 106 new COVID-19 cases
Malaysia’s number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has risen to 1,624, after 106 new infections were reported today.
The health director general says of the new cases, 43 are linked to the Sri Petaling mosque cluster.
So far, 64 patients are being treated in ICU, while 24 are on breathing assistance.
A total of 183 patients have made full recoveries, after 24 more patients were discharged from hospital.
Chinese govt ready to assist Msia fight against COVID-19
The Foreign Minister says that the Chinese govt is ready to assist Malaysia in curbing the spread of COVID-19.
Medical experts from China will hold a video conference with Malaysian physicians to discuss strategies and their experience dealing with the coronavirus.
