Malaysia reports 45 total COVID-19 deaths

Health Director General Datuk Dr Noorhisham Abdullah says 2 more people have died due to COVID-19, raising our total fatalities to 45.
He adds that both victims were Malaysians who also suffered from chronic illnesses.
Dr Noorhisham also says Malaysia now has a total of 2,908 coronavirus cases, after 142 more people tested positive today.
102 are currently in ICU, with 66 requiring breathing assistance.
Meanwhile another 108 patients have been discharged from hospital, meaning that 654 people have made full recoveries.
Selangor announces second stimulus package
Selangor has announced the second phase of its economic stimulus package, or Prihatin 2.0 worth over RM270 million.
Among the initiatives, a new COVID-19 fund will be set up.
State officials including Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shahri, have agreed to take pay cuts, to be channelled into the fund.
Datuk Seri Amirudin also announced that all Ramadhan bazaars in Selangor have been cancelled.
Government to delay tax form submissions
The government decided to delay the submission of tax forms during the MCO period.
This includes the deadline for the Inland Revenue Board's BE Form, which has been extended from April 30th to 30th of June.
Submissions for business owners have also been extended by two months.
Meanwhile, employers can apply for Socso's Wage Subsidy Scheme, so that they won't have to lay off workers or force them to take unpaid leave during the outbreak.
This is an extension of the Employment Retention Programme that was announced in the govt's Economic Stimulus Package.
