CMCO Day 1

May 04, 2020

Under the Conditional Movement Control Order or CMCO, people are no longer limited to travelling within a 10 kilometre radius.

However, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says inter-state travel is still prohibited.

Meanwhile, just over 400 people were arrested for defying the MCO yesterday.

Johor has decided to implement the CMCO, which will be implemented in several states starting today.

The Johor MB says, it's because the state government is ready to face any eventuality.

It has also ensured that the relevant agencies have enough manpower, and it has all the necessary SOPs in place, for its implementation.
