Msia among Asean countries conducting most Covid-19 tests

Malaysia has emerged as one of the top countries in Asean to have conducted the most number of Covid-19 tests among its people.

The Health Director General says a new data compilation shows that more than 424,000 tests have been processed so far.

The number of people screened is equivalent to about 13 people per 1,000 population.

Health DG: It's still not okay to bring kids and elderly to public areas

The Health Ministry is considering imposing punitive action on those who bring children and the elderly to public places without proper reason.

It says these two age groups have a high risk of contracting Covid-19.

It stressed the government will not hesitate to take action if the problem persists.

Get discounts up to 50% when you pay your summonses online 

Bukit Aman says motorists with outstanding traffic summonses will get discounts of up to 50% on their penalties when they pay them online starting Monday until May 21st.
