We're on course to bringing it down to single digits
May 20, 2020
The Health Director-General says Malaysia remains on track to achieving single-digit growth in daily Covid-19 cases:
“Certainly the cases have not increased. But its not decreasing as fast as we want. But we’re still hanging on. And as long as we can maintain about 20 or so cases, then our public health teams can take action on these cases. Most important is there is no sudden increase or surge in cases.”
Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah says it would be good if daily cases remain below 50, which can be achieved if everyone does their part to abide by the set SOPs.
This, as the country recorded 37 new infections yesterday, with one additional fatality.
