COVID-19 green zones revisited
May 22, 2020
The Health Ministry is increasing Covid-19 testing in Kelantan, Kedah and Terengganu, where new infections have been detected in areas that were previously designated as green zones.
One such case involves a pregnant woman, who tested positive after travelling from the Klang Valley to her home town in Kelantan.
Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah says the woman’s family has already been screened.
Authorities are also conducting contact tracing, to track down and screen other people who had come into close contact with the woman, who’s believed to have made several stops before arriving back in her home town.
