May 25, 2020

A third Covid-19 cluster in as many days has been detected at an Immigration detention center.

The Health Director General says the latest saw six infections reported at the Sepang depot.

It comes after clusters were also detected at the Bukit Jalil and Semenyih centers over the past few days.

The Health Ministry is now investigating the source of the outbreak.

This, as 60 new Covid-19 infections were reported nationwide yesterday.

It brings the country’s total to 7,245…of which only 1,100-plus are still active cases.
