Bersatu urges supreme council members to take Covid-19 tests after Minister's infection

Bersatu has ordered it's supreme council members who attended a meeting with Minister in the PM’s Department for Economic Affairs, Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed last Wednesday, to undergo Covid-19 testing.
The meeting attendees, including PM Tan Sri Muhyiddin, will be tested for the coronavirus as a preventive measure, even though SOPs were observed at the event.
Meanwhile, Health Director General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah told the Malaymail they are tracing contacts of the Jeli MP.
More than 31,000 people are now displaced by floods in 5 states.
Pahang is the worst-affected, with nearly 24,000nevacuees, followed by Terengganu with 4,000, while Kelantan has 1,700 people displaced.
Meanwhile, Senior Minister for Security Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has confirmed that no Covid-19 cases have been detected so far at flood relief centres nationwide.
Almost 70% of the 730 new Covid-19 cases reported in Selangor were detected from existing clusters and close contact tracing.
This comes as the country reported 2,433 new infections along with 9 deaths, bringing the overall number of infections to over 135 thousand.
