Interstate travel allowed for certain cases with police approval

Those, who are currently in their hometowns can make their way home, the latest by Friday.

TheSenior Minister for Security says the relaxation of cross-border travel could be granted for those who had already purchased air and express bus tickets in advance.

"They are allowed to proceed with their journey. This relaxation is only for those with specific reasons, such as visiting sick family members in hospital. Such cases are allowed, so don't worry if you are stranded in kampung"

However, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob warned that police approval must be obtained first before travelling.

Parents with children in private kindergartens in MCO states are allowed to decide on sending their children for classes.

The Education Ministry says they decided to open such premises based on requests from some operators and parents who were working and needed daycare services for their kids.

Malaysia has added 3,309 more Covid-19 cases yesterday, hitting its highest single-day total and pushing the country’s active cases to over 30,000.

Selangor again was the state with the most new cases at 1,007.
