Payments for BPN2.0 to be cashed out next week

Starting next Thursday, eligible recipients will receive cash aid under the govt’s Bantuan Prihatin Nasional 2.0 initiative.

The Finance Ministry says those without a bank account can get the aid at BSN branches.

While, payment will be cash out from next month, for those without an account in Sabah and Sarawak.

Malaysia records over 2,900 new COVID-19 cases

2,985 new COVID-19 cases were reported today.

Selangor continues to record the highest number of infections, with 837 cases, followed by 535 in Johor, and Sabah with 450.

The Health Ministry has also detected 11 more clusters nationwide.

Meanwhile, 4 more people have died due to the virus, raising the death toll to 563.

Deputy Communications and Multimedia Minister infected by COVID-19

Deputy Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Zahidi Zainul Abidin has tested positive for COVID-19.

This comes after several ministers were recently infected by the coronavirus, namely, Home Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, along with Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rina Mohd Harun.
