Kelantan, and Sibu, Sarawak to be under MCO

Jan 15, 2021

Kelantan will no longer be under a Conditional MCO, and will instead be under the stricter Movement Control Order from midnight tonight.

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says, it's due to a surge in COVID-19 cases.

Meanwhile, an MCO will also be enforced in Sibu, Sarawak for two weeks.

Registration for COVID-19 vaccine to be open soon

You will soon be able to register to receive the coronavirus vaccine.

The Health Ministry says public vaccination is the final stage of the National COVID-19 Immunisation Plan.

The Pfizer coronavirus vaccine is expected to arrive at the end of next month, with each individual to get two doses.

DBKL Public parks allowed to open during MCO

Good news for residents in KL, as public parks under the KL City Hall will be allowed to open during the Movement Control Order.

Federal Territories Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa says this follows public feedback that the parks' earlier closure was not in line with government SOPs.

Earlier, the National Security Council said individual sports activities such as jogging, and cycling are allowed to take place.
