Entire country, except Sarawak, under MCO this Friday

The whole country, except Sarawak, is set to be placed under a Movement Control Order, due to a rise in COVID-19 cases.

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says an MCO will be enforced in several states starting this Friday.

They are Kedah, Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Terengganu, and Perlis.

Meanwhile, Datuk Seri Ismail says the Enhanced MCO at the Amber Court apartment complex in Pahang has been lifted.

Over 3,600 more COVID-19 cases today

The Health Ministry says 3,631 new COVID-19 cases were reported nationwide today.

Selangor had the highest number of cases, followed by Sabah and KL.

Meanwhile the death toll rose by 14 to 619.

National Unity Minister and Padang Rengas MP test positive for COVID-19

National Unity Minister Datuk Halimah Mohd Sadique has been warded into a hospital in Johor, after testing positive for COVID-19.

Padang Rengas MP Datuk Seri Nazri Abdul Aziz was also found infected by the coronavirus, and is being treated in Kelantan.
