More recovered COVID-19 patients than new infections

The number of COVID-19 patients released from hospital today is more than double the number of new infections.
4,521 patients have recovered compared to 2,176 new cases.
Of the new cases, Selangor recorded 910 infections, followed by 269 in Johor, and Sarawak with 246.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 death toll has risen to 975 after 10 patients succumbed to the virus.

First and second shot will come from the same COVID-19 vaccine
Those set to be immunized against the coronavirus will have their first and second shot come from the same vaccine.
The Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry said this after the UK began trials to examine the effectiveness of mixing doses.
This, as the National COVID-19 Vaccination program is set to roll out at the end of the month.

Police officer removed from roadblock duty amid sexual harassment claims
A police officer has been removed from roadblock duty after the cop was accused of sexually harassing a woman recently.
Bukit Aman officials say the officer has not been suspended but instead re-assigned, while investigations are ongoing.
This comes after a woman claimed she was sexually harassed by a cop at a roadblock, which has gone viral on social media.
