Selangor, KL, Penang, and Johor to be under CMCO

KL, Selangor, Penang, and Johor will no longer be under a Movement Control Order.
The Defence Minister says a Conditional MCO will be enforced there instead.
Meanwhile, Melaka, Pahang, Terengganu, Labuan, Putrajaya, and Sabah will be placed under a Recovery MCO.
Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says the orders will take effect this Friday until March 18
th.
On another note, Datuk Seri Ismail says interstate travel is still banned, however travellers will be allowed to cross district borders, except in Sabah.

Malaysia’s number of new cases still below 2K
The number of new COVID-19 cases today, is again below two thousand.
Malaysia reported 1,555 new infections, while 2,528 patients were discharged today.
Selangor had the highest number of cases, followed by Johor, and Sarawak.
Meanwhile, six more people have died due to the virus, raising the death toll to 1,141.

COVID-19 vaccination rate to increase during National Vaccination Program third phase
The rate of administering the COVID-19 vaccine will increase during the third phase of the National Vaccination Program.
The coordinating minister for the program, says it will speed up the rate to reach 15,000 vaccinations a day.
Meanwhile, Khairy Jamaluddin says nearly 44,000 people have received their first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine as at 2pm today.
