The government is to issue a smart vaccination certificate to people in the country who have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
The Health Ministry says the certificate will be issued in a month and that the matter is being discussed with the WHO, to ensure that the document is also recognised by other countries.
Covid-19 vaccine order exceeds 108% of Malaysia's population
Orders for Covid-19 vaccines by the country to date have surpassed 108% of the population.
The Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry says the public need not worry as the vaccination exercise has provided sufficient doses for everyone in the country.
No need to resubmit vaccination registration
There is no need for those who have already registered for Covid-19 vaccination via the MySejahtera app to resubmit their application.
The Minister Coordinating the national vaccination programme took to Twitter to clarify the issue after several posts went viral online urging people to do so, in order to prompt a confirmation screen to appear on the app.
Meanwhile, a new feature will be introduced in the app in two weeks’ time to let users register family members for vaccination.
