2,800 AstraZeneca vaccine appointments rescheduled

Some 2,800 appointments for the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine on May 15th and 16th at the KL World Trade Center have been rescheduled due to the current spike in coronavirus cases.
The Minister-in-charge of the National Immunisation Program says the new appointment dates will be from the 17th until the 23rd of May.
Khairy Jamaluddin says those affected will be notified from tomorrow.

No need to resubmit details on MySejahtera
Those registered for the National COVID-19 Immunisation Program are not required to resubmit their address details on the MySejahtera app.
The Program's coordinating minister Khairy Jamaluddin explained that a viral post showing additional details on the vaccination page is actually a new feature.
Currently, almost 10 million people have already signed up for the vaccination program.

Over 3.8k new COVID-19 cases
Malaysia reported a rise in new COVID-19 cases today at 3,807.
Selangor had the most infections with 1,149 cases, followed by Sarawak and Kelantan.
Meanwhile, the death toll has risen to 1,700, after 17 more patients succumbed to the virus.
