Govt to use MySejahtera to ensure two-hour shopping limit compliance

Consumers' movements will be monitored through the MySejahtera app to ensure they abide by the government's new two-hour limit when visiting retail outlets including shopping malls.
The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry says it is also on the public to practice self-discipline to follow the new rule.
It adds that over 2,000 of its personnel will be deployed nationwide to monitor the situation.

Over 6k new COVID-19 cases for 6th straight day
Malaysia has reported over 6,000 new COVID-19 cases for a sixth consecutive day.
The Health Ministry recorded 6,509 new infections today, with Selangor having the most cases.
Sarawak is second on the list, followed by KL, and Johor.
Meanwhile, the death toll has risen to 2,309 after 61 more patients succumbed to the virus.

Police hunting down individual claiming cause of athlete’s death linked to COVID-19 vaccine
Police are tracking down an individual said to have spread fake news over the death of national athlete Haziq Kamaruddin.
The suspect alleged that the deceased died after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
A video of the incident went viral on social media.
