Exhaustion of health workers possible reason for 'empty syringe' incidents

The Health Ministry does not deny the possibility that exhaustion among workers could have led to allegations that some Covid-19 vaccine recipients were injected with empty syringes.
Because of this, it has urged those working at vaccination centers to come forward if they need time to rest.
It adds that three of such allegations are being investigated by police.
Malaysia reported 199 Covid-19 fatalities yesterday, the highest number of deaths ever recorded in a single day.
This pushes the death toll to 7,440.
There are currently 927 patients in ICUs, while 459 are relying on ventilator support.
This as we reported a slight drop in Covid-19 new infections, with 11,985 cases.
Dewan Rakyat deputy speaker Datuk Seri Azalina Othman has proposed for AG Tan Sri Idrus Harun to be present during the upcoming special Parliament sitting to answer questions relating to emergency laws.
She says this would help justify the rationale of the emergency ordinances drafted by his office.
