Health DG: Walk-in vaccinations can contain pandemic faster

Walk-in vaccinations, expected to start tomorrow, will help speed up efforts to curb the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Health Ministry says this could also increase the immunisation rate in the Klang Valley, where most of the cases are currently being reported.

It adds that those who had not received an appointment could finally get their first dose of vaccine, with this programme.

The number of Covid-19 patients in ICUs rose further to 1,055 yesterday, with more than half of them requiring respiratory support.

This as we reported a drop in Covid-19 cases with 16,840 infections along with 134 fatalities.

Malaysians can now send the results of their Covid-19 self-test directly to the Health Ministry via the MySejahtera app.
