PKPB: Makan di restoran, empat orang satu meja besar dibenarkan - Ismail Sabri | Astro Awani

Malaysians have been warned not to be complacent with the opening up of more economic sectors for those who have been fully vaccinated in phase 1 states.

The Health Ministry says the easing of restrictions is to support the economy and not because it is safe from Covid-19.

Caretaker PM Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced that vaccinated individuals can dine-in starting today but they will be required to show their digital vaccine certificate on MySejahtera.

Families with parents who are both fully-vaccinated will also be allowed to bring their children to dine-in with them.

Non-contact activities, including cycling, skateboarding, fishing and hiking will also now be allowed.

Selangor is expected to make a transition to Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan next month.

The state MB says this is based on the latest rate of vaccination in Selangor in which the number of recipients with the first dose of vaccine is reaching 98%.

31 individuals have been issued with a 2 thousand ringgit compound each for holding a candlelight vigil in memory of all those who died of Covid-19 so far at Dataran Merdeka last night.

Dang Wangi police say the activists are being investigated for various offences including violations of Covid-19 SOPs.
