New cabinet to be announced this week

An announcement is expected to be made this week, on Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s new Cabinet.

Datuk Seri Ismail says the list of ministers must first be presented to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

As such, the newly appointed PM says all the lists of his supposed Cabinet members being spread on social media are fake.

Teachers should be an example by getting COVID vaccine

The Sultan of Johor says teachers should set an example, particularly for students, by getting themselves vaccinated against COVID-19.

The Ruler stressed the importance of educators being immunised, especially with schools scheduled to reopen soon.

He was responding to reports that nearly 780 teachers in the state refused to take the shot.

New COVID-19 cases drop to 17k

Malaysia reported a drop in new COVID-19 cases, after we logged 17,672 infections today.

The bulk of the total was detected in Selangor, followed by Sabah, and Kedah.

Four other states also reported four-digit infections.
