PM to unveil Cabinet line-up today

Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob is expected to announce his new Cabinet line-up by 11am.

The Prime Minister's Office says the swearing-in ceremony of ministers and deputy ministers is set to take place on Monday.

Malaysia hit a grim milestone yesterday, after we reported a new record in daily Covid-19 deaths with 393 cases.

This pushes the overall fatality number past the 15,000 mark. 

The Health Ministry also reported a new high of 24,599 daily Covid-19 cases.

The Penang government has announced that Selangor has agreed to lend the state 200 thousand Covid-19 vaccine doses.

More than 225 thousand people there have yet to receive their first shot, with the majority of the unvaccinated population located in Seberang Prai Tengah district.
