Half of Malaysia's population now complete COVID vaccination

Malaysia has hit a milestone as half of the entire population has now received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
This means nearly 16 and a half million people have already completed their vaccinations.
Overall, more than 37 million doses have been given out nationwide

Fully vaxxed individuals allowed to visit Langkawi
All Malaysians who have already completed their COVID vaccinations will be allowed to visit Langkawi, except those in areas under an Enhanced MCO.
The Tourism, Arts, and Culture Ministry says visitors must first obtain police permission.
Meanwhile, minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri says children below the age of 18 must be accompanied by their immunised parents, adding that visitors are not required to undergo testing.
Starting next Thursday, tourism activities will resume in Langkawi under a bubble concept.

Health Ministry launches new COVIDNOW website
A new format will be used to report daily COVID-19 cases, as we begin dealing with the coronavirus as endemic.
Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin says among others, the simplified format will focus on the country’s active infections.
He adds that the public can now access a new website called COVIDNOW, which lists all data related to the country’s COVID situation…
Meanwhile, 19,307 new COVID infections were detected today, with Sarawak having the most cases.
