Interstate travel likely to be allowed in Oct

Restrictions on interstate travel will likely be lifted by the first half of next month.
National Recovery Council Chairman, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says this is when 90% of our adult population is expected to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
The issue was one of the things discussed during the council’s meeting yesterday, which included several other Cabinet ministers.
The NRC is also discussing the possibility of reopening Malaysia’s borders.
Tan Sri Muhyiddin says the matter will be brought up to the Prime Minister and that an announcement could be made soon.
More than 2 million people have recovered from Covid-19 since the pandemic began in the country.
Over 16,000 patients were discharged from treatment yesterday.
This as we reported a drop in daily Covid-19 cases, with 10, 959 infections.
Husbands who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 will be allowed to accompany their pregnant wives during childbirth.
Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin says however, they will be required to undergo Covid-19 testing before being allowed to enter the delivery room.
