The Health Minister says those who are unable to take the COVID-19 vaccine due to medical reasons, can apply for an exemption certificate on MySejahtera.

Khairy Jamaluddin says they can do so at their nearest district health office.

On another note, Khairy says authorities will continue to monitor the spread of new variants in the country.

So far, Malaysia has not detected any cases linked to the Mu and Lambda variants.

It said students died before Perak kicked off its immunization program for teenagers.
