KJ Orders Smoking Crackdown

Authorities have been told to clamp down on those who smoke in public places like restaurants.
The Health Minister said this, amid complaints of people ignorning the no-smoking ban, even since the ban on dining in was lifted.
Khairy Jamaluddin says the enforcement can be done when authorities monitor the compliance of COVID-19 SOPs.

Rise in Daily Covid Cases
New COVID-19 infections rose to 6,210 today.
This is nearly 700 cases more than yesterday's figure.
The Health DG says 2,413,592 positive cases have now been reported since the start of the pandemic

Cheaper Self-Test Kits on the Cards
The price of COVID-19 self test kits could fall to below 10 ringgit by next month.
The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry says the actual price will be announced soon.
Its minister says the new price will reasonable, due to the increased use of such kits.
The current retail ceiling price is RM19.90.
