KJ: Msia’s battle with Covid-19 not over

We are still not out of the woods in our fight against Covid-19.

As such the Health Minister reminded the public to continue adhering to the SOPs.

Khairy Jamaluddin says we are still facing challenges despite the Covid-19 situation improving with daily cases showing a downtrend.

Daily Covid-19 cases dipped below 5,000 for a second consecutive day, with 4,885 infections yesterday.

Only 1.9% of them reported moderate to severe symptoms.

A leading resort in Langkawi has been temporarily closed for at least 10 days following the detection of Covid-19 cases.

This is after 16 of its staff tested positive for Covid during its regular random testing of its workers.

The Education Ministry will soon issue a new schedule for the SPM 2021 examination.

This is after it received views from many parents and candidates on the matter and assures that all perspectives will be taken into account.
