No plans to fix ceiling price yet for Covid-19 self-test kits

Govt to revise down COVID-19 self test kit price by end of the year -  Tengku Zafrul | Astro Awani

The government has no plans to set a new ceiling price for Covid-19 self-test kits.

The Domestic, Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry says this is because there are still some 17 million kits in stock, and it will allow market forces to determine the prices.

The Covid-19 self-test kits are now sold for as low as RM4.90 each.

Malaysia reported a drop in Covid-19 cases yesterday, with 4,087 infections.

This is 152 cases less than the previous day’s figure.

The fresh infections are the lowest in almost 200 days.
