The Malaysian who is on death row in Singapore has been accorded full due process under the law.

Singapore's President said this, in a written reply to Malaysia's Yang di-Pertuan Agong, who had asked for clemency.

The Perak native was scheduled to be hanged early last month but found temporary respite after testing positive for COVID-19.

He was arrested by Singaporean authorities in 2009 for drug smuggling.
