Dec 14, 2021
The government is considering extending the moratorium on study course fee increase by higher learning private institutions.
The moratorium was implemented from June 1 last year to December 31 to ease the burden of students.
The Higher Education Ministry is also urging IPTS to give discounts to the students based on the concern over their welfare.
Daily Covid-19 infections in the country have remained below 4 thousand for a second day in a row.
This, after the Health Ministry reported 3,504 cases yesterday.
Some 5 thousand officers will be on duty, to ensure a smooth early voting process in the Sarawak state election today.
Separately, the Sarawak High court has dismissed an application by three youths seeking judicial review to allow Undi18 voters to partake in the Sarawak polls.
The court said that even though the federal gazette has passed such a ruling that does not mean it could come into effect immediately.
