PM: 2022 New Year celebrations cancelled

The 2022 New Year celebrations have been cancelled!
It will be replaced with prayers as a sign of respect and sympathy for flood victims in several states.
The Prime Minister also called on mosques all over the country, especially state mosques, to organise similar functions for prayers.
Non-Muslims can hold prayers according to their respective religions.
Speaking of which...a fireworks display will not happen at KLCC and Pavilion during New Year's Eve today.
Dang Wangi police say they will be patrolling the area to prevent activities that cause large gatherings.
Police warned that action will be taken against any violation of SOPs.
Repair works on health clinics and facilities affected by the floods are now being expedited.
The Health Ministry says its priority is to ensure that health services in those areas could resume as soon as possible.
KKM is also ready to deal with waterborne infectious diseases such as leptospirosis and skin diseases that usually occur during the flood season.
