6 detained in connection to fake COVID vaccination certs

Police in Terengganu have detained six people in connection to fake COVID-19 vaccination certificates allegedly issued by a private clinic doctor in Marang.
It’s believed that the six helped the suspect in promoting the fake certs.
According to initial investigations, those who were detained were not involved in falsifying the certificates.
Cops have taken their statements.

Terengganu monitoring if civil servants involved in fake COVID vaccination certs
Terengganu is monitoring whether civil servants are involved in obtaining fake COVID-19 vaccination certificates.
State authorities say they will order the relevant departments to monitor those who are against taking the vaccine.
They will leave it up to the police and Health Ministry to deal with private medical practitioners involved in such activities.
This, after cops arrested a private clinic doctor for allegedly giving out fake vaccination certs.

8 Omicron COVID-19 cases detected in Terengganu
Eight COVID-19 cases linked to Omicron have been reported in Terengganu.
They involve pilgrims who returned from performing Umrah.
The state health department says they are all vaccinated, and are in categories 1 and 2.
It adds that the infection has not spread to their family members or community, as they underwent quarantine upon arrival.
