Msia expects to administer 10mil booster shots by next month

Malaysia is expecting to surpass the 10 million mark in Covid-19 booster coverage next month.
The Health Minister said this, after almost 9 million booster shots were administered yesterday.
Khairy Jamaluddin says the hospitalisation rate remains under control despite a surge of imported Omicron cases, due to the accelerated booster programme and SOPs in place.
Four mega COVID-19 vaccination centers in the Klang Valley will begin operations starting tomorrow.
This includes the KL World Trade Center, which will give out AstraZeneca booster shots until March 15th.
For now, walk-ins vaccinations are not allowed.
Forbes magazine has named infectious disease expert Datuk Prof Adeeba Kamarulzaman to its 50 over 50: Asia 2022’ list.
Adeeba has been vocal about the country’s fight against Covid-19.
She is one of three Malaysians on the list, the other two being actress Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh and artist Simryn Gill.
