Starting tomorrow, senior citizens can walk in for their booster shots at four integrated PPV’s in the Klang Valley.

They are the World Trade Centre and Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil in KL, as well as IDCC in Shah Alam and the Sokka Gakkai hall in Klang.

Offsite PPV’s in Selangor, KL, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Penang and Sarawak will also implement walk-in vaccinations for senior citizens from January 24th.

Measures have been put in place to prepare for the possibility of a surge in Covid cases due to the Omicron variant.

The Health Director General says even though Omicron has been found to be less severe that other variants, the higher transmission rate could cause a spike in hospital admissions.

More than 5,600 people are suspected to have purchased fake vaccination certificates in Selangor.

The state police chief says their names were found on laptops confiscated by the cops, who are cracking down on those fraudulently registering data on MySejahtera.

Four men and three women have since been arrested, following a raid on a clinic in Selangor last week.
