Those involved in fake COVID-19 vaccination certificates must be brought to justice.

The Malaysian Medical Association says any medical practitioners involved should face the heaviest of punishments.

MMA wants registered practitioners to have their license to practice revoked, among other stern measures.

This comes after more than 5,000 fake certs were allegedly issued by a clinic in Selangor.

Police have arrested four people believed to be involved in fake COVID-19 vaccination certificates in Kelantan.

Among those arrested include a private clinic doctor.

The other three were vaccine recipients who were nabbed during a raid at the clinic.

This is after the state health department received complaints claiming the clinic had issued fake certs since October last year.

The Kelantan Health Department has rubbished allegations that a COVID-19 cluster at a school was triggered by a student, whose parents had returned from umrah.

Investigations are still ongoing into the cause of infection.

So far, 44 students have tested positive for the coronavirus with over 250 close contacts.
