The Prime Minister assures that a Movement Control Order will not be enforced during celebrations.
Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says instead, authorities will take targeted measures.
Areas that report a spike in COVID-19 cases will be placed under an Enhanced MCO.

DS Zahid Hamidi ordered to enter his defence
Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has been ordered to enter his defence on 47 charges of corruption, money laundering, and criminal breach of trust involving his charity foundation.
This, after the KL High Court ruled that the prosecution had established prima facie against the UMNO president.
Zahid was given three options to conduct his defence, namely, to give a sworn statement in the witness stand, give a statement from the dock, or remain silent.
His lawyer says the former DPM will give a sworn statement.

Tun M interacted with family members; still undergoing treatment at IJN
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohd’s family says they have interacted with the former PM, who is still being treated at the National Heart Institute.
His daughter Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir also hopes people will ignore any rumours on Tun M’s condition.
Meanwhile, the Communications and Multimedia Minister has urged everyone not to spread unverified news on the former PM’s health.
Tun M was admitted for follow up treatment to an earlier elective procedure.
