The National Recovery Council wants the government to set a definite timeline for the reopening of our borders.

Its chairman says it’s to boost the economy’s recovery, after being hit hard by the ongoing pandemic.

Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says Malaysia is recovering, but the recovery process is limited.

He adds that our borders can reopen in stages, by factoring in certain SOPs such as quarantine and COVID-19 screenings.
