Malaysia has officially kicked off the COVID-19 vaccination program for children aged 5 to 11.
The Health Minister launched the program today as kids will begin receiving the vaccine in the Klang Valley.
Khairy Jamaluddin also reminded kids who are taking the injection that there is no need to be nervous.
So far, more than half a million kids nationwide have been registered under the program.

Parties hope for relaxed SOPs for Johor state election
Political parties hope COVID-19 SOPs will be relaxed in the upcoming Johor state election.
They hope to be given some leeway to conduct campaigns physically, as well as hold public talks, and walkabouts.
However, they say parties and the public must remain vigilant due to the current COVID situation.

Daily COVID-19 cases cross 5k again; highest since early Dec
Malaysia has reported its highest number of daily COVID infections since early December.
New cases rose to 5,736 yesterday, up by 170 cases compared to the previous day.
Less than 1% of yesterday’s daily COVID-19 cases are in categories 3,4,and 5.
