SPM to continue as scheduled
Feb 13, 2022
SPM examinations will continue as scheduled, despite the country’s recent surge in COVID-19 cases.
The Education Ministry says it's because most patients are categorised as low risk.
It’s also because more than 90% of Form 5 students this year are already fully vaccinated.
SPM is scheduled for March 2nd until the 29th.

Don’t use schools as polling centers
The Education Ministry does not want secondary schools to be used as polling centres in the Johor state election in March.
Its Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin says it is to ensure SPM examinations next month go smoothly.
It’s also to prevent schools from having to make rearrangements.
As such, Dr Radzi says an official letter will be sent to the Election Commission soon.
