'Boosterless' recipients should maintain fully vaxx status
Feb 18, 2022
Some experts believe COVID-19 vaccine recipients who have yet to take the booster shot should be allowed to maintain their fully vaccinated status.
The Malaysian Medical Association reckons that people should be given more time to decide on getting the booster jab.
It is confident that Malaysians are aware of the benefits of being vaccinated, and will take the booster eventually.
It also agrees that there is a need for those in high-risk groups to get the booster soon.
Earlier, the Health Ministry said that all vaccinated senior citizens and adult Sinovac recipients must receive the booster before March or risk losing their fully vaccinated status.
